My great grandfather, Joshua Irwin b1858, had a wife (2nd marriage?) with Rosie Irwin b1868 or b1870. See Madison County 1930 & 1920 census. Could Rosie Irwin be Sarah Rosetta Stacy? Your data shows her married to Joshua Irving in Madison Missouri. -dougirwin@aol.com (novice at genealogy)

I've heard that objects from Ballifield are in the Victoria and Albert Museum. Does anyone know if this is correct? If so, what objects and where in the museum would they be located? Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mary Black

Greatly enjoyed your site. I am a relation of Heinrich Weidner, so I was interested in the Weidner/Whitener info you published. Keep up the good work!

Greetings fellow Staceys. My lot originated in the Bedford area of England. See <staceysbedford.org.uk> My research suggests possible nanme origin as a corruption of Eustace. One Eustace, Duc De Bolougne, accompanied William the Conquerer when he invaded England in 1066. Eustace was granted much land in Bedford and Huntingdonshire. There is a coat of arms associated with the name, see web-site as above. God Bless Dennis Stacey
