This is an Act by the Maryland General Assembly located in St. Mary's, Maryland. The act disburses tobacco to numerous growers all over the Maryland Colony's Counties, not just for the county of St. Mary's where the General Assembly was located. The act is dated 1682 and John Stacey is shown as receiving one hundred ten pounds disbursement of tobacco. It is safe to say this is John Stacey of Calvert County because no other John Stacey has been identified in St. Mary's County in the year 1682. At this writing, the only other thing known about John Stacey of Calvert  County is he arrived in Calvert County from England in 1670.
